Aruna Ganju

  • Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery
MD (1993), University of Miami

Dr. Ganju collaborates with SQI members in the investigation and development of therapies to treat spinal cord injury. The short-term goal is to understand which combination of biological signals and supramolecular motion within peptide amphiphile nanofibers results in the desired cellular response and maximizes functional recovery in a mouse model of spinal cord injury. The long-term goal is to apply these findings toward a therapy that can benefit human patients.
