The Simpson Querrey Institute (SQI) is home to two core facilities, the Analytical bioNanoTechnology Equipment Core (ANTEC) and the Peptide Synthesis Core. These facilities are fee-for-service/instrument use laboratories that encompass a wide range of biologically related analytical instrumentation as well as a comprehensive offering of synthetic peptide services.

SQI core facilities earn 2020 Service Excellence Awards
- The Peptide Synthesis Core and the Analytical bioNanoTechnology Equipment Core (ANTEC) were among 25 core facilities selected university-wide for general excellence in governance, resource management, research and technical staff, customer satisfaction and outreach activities, among other areas.
- Awardees typically score as either “Outstanding” or “Excellent” in at least five of the eight categories that the Office for Research’s Core Facilities Administration uses to evaluate cores.
