RASTRUM bio-inkjet printer demo is underway! Rastrum inkjet bioprinter

The Inventia RASTRUM bio-inkjet 3D cell culture printer is available at ANTEC for a limited time as a demo.

This instrument enables users to create hydrogel-embedded 3D cell cultures with tunable stiffness and a wide selection of geometries and additives. User-supplied cells are mixed with the gelation activator solution, which will be co-printed with the hydrogel matrix solution in 24, 96 and 384-well formats. The wizard-assisted, highly automated workflow reduces errors associated with manual 3D cell culture creation.

ANTEC has added two new instruments to the laboratory, effective September 1, 2023. The JASCO J-1500 Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectrometer is available for reservation through NUCore, and the Prusa i3 MK3+ Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D Printer  (pictured at right) can be used for prototype manufacturing of parts that accelerate research activities. Users interested in printing parts should contact Hiroaki Sai ( with a 3D model.
